About Me

Hello! And welcome to my ePortfolio! This site is a working document which will display my academic, professional, and personal development as an educator.

I have my undergraduate degree from Lebanon Valley College and a masters degree from Wilkes University. Currently, I am working towards earning a second masters degree from Lamar University in Digital Learning and Leading. I am a learning support teacher at Owen J Roberts High School in Pennsylvania (currently working with 11th grade students) where I co-teach an English course and am also the varsity field hockey coach. At home, I live with my husband, my daughter, and our pup, Camo.

In addition to teaching, coaching, and family, I am also passionate about life-long learning. One of the main reasons I became a teacher is because I love learning new things. New strategies, new ideas, new technology. Technology is one of the best tools available to help engage students in learning. Understanding how to use it effectively will better prepare them for their futures in the 21st century.
